What is a “Mobile Detailing Service”?

We understand that not many people have the time to travel for a car detail or valet. Therefore, we travel to you with all of the tools and products needed to keep your vehicle looking its best.

How much does mobile vehicle detailing cost?

We provide lots of different detailing and valeting services, however for a basic detail prices start at £50. Get in touch with us for a free quote.

What is the difference between Valeting & Detailing?

Detailing is thoroughly cleaning the interior & exterior and restoring or exceeding the original condition of the vehicles paintwork. A Detailer is also skilled in applying coatings to paintwork, wheels, glass, fabrics and interiors. High end service for a generally a high end client.

What days can I book your mobile detailing service?

We are avaiable from 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 12pm on Sunday. If you need an alternative time, please contact us, and we will see if we can book you in!

What payment methods do you accept?

We take cash & bank transfer, however we are working on setting up card payments for the near future.

How do I book a detailing service with Vulpix Detailing?

You can book a detail in 3 ways. You can call us on 0161 885 3667 and speak to the Vulpix team, you can email us at info@vulpixdetailing.co.uk, or finally you can fill out the booking form here and we will get you confirmed shortly after.

How long will the vehicle protection last?

This is very dependent on the type of protection you require as no two types of detail will have the same effect. We recommended a detailing protection from anywhere between 3 months and 5 years.

Monthly Maintenance Package – FAQs

1. Do I need to book anything before joining the plan?

Yes. All vehicles must first receive a Full Valet or Deep Clean so we can reset the car to our standard before maintaining it.

2. What if the car is brand new?

If you’ve owned the car from new and it’s less than 6 weeks old, you can skip the reset and go straight onto the plan. This doesn’t apply to second-hand vehicles.

3. Who is this package designed for?

It’s perfect for anyone who wants that “freshly detailed” feel without the effort or cost of a full reset each time.

4. What’s included in the service?

A full safe wash, interior refresh, light steam where needed, paint protection top-up, and full inspection every visit to keep it looking immaculate.

5. Is it a no-scratch wash?

Yes. We follow strict safe-wash methods with premium tools and techniques to prevent swirls or damage to your paintwork.

6. Do you visit me or do I bring the car to you?

We offer both mobile and unit-based appointments, depending on what’s most convenient for you.

7. How often do I need to book in?

Most clients come in every 4-6 weeks. We also offer bi-weekly plans if your car gets dirty quicker or you want an even higher standard.

8. What if I want to cancel?

You’re not locked in. Just let us know and we’ll stop the plan — no hassle, no pressure.

9. Is it cheaper than regular bookings?

Absolutely. Our maintenance clients get up to 40% off our usual valet prices by keeping on top of the condition each month.

Full Valet – FAQs

1. How long does a full valet take?

On average, a Full Valet takes around 2 to 3 hours, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. If the car hasn’t been cleaned in a while or has dog hair or heavy soiling, it may take a little longer.

2. What’s the difference between this and the Deep Clean?

The Full Valet is perfect for well-maintained cars or vehicles that haven’t been cleaned in 4–6 weeks.

If your car has:

Stains or spills

Heavy grime or smells

…then we’d recommend a Deep Clean, which includes wet-vacuum extraction, interior shampooing, and more intensive treatments.

3. Can I book this as a one-off or do I need to be a regular customer?

You can absolutely book this as a one-off. However, many of our regular clients use the Full Valet as a maintenance clean every 4–6 weeks to keep their car in great shape.

4. Can this be done at my home or workplace?

Yes — our Full Valet is available mobile or at our unit. We cover Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.

5. Do you need power and water?

We’re fully equipped with our own water and generator, but if you have access to a tap and socket, we’re happy to use that — it helps keep noise down for neighbours.

6. Do you clean child seats or boot spaces?

No – Due to insurance reasons we cannot remove child seats from the car, however please feel free to remove before the service and we will clean this area as standard.

7. Can I leave the car with you if I’m coming to the unit?

Yes — we’re based in Ashton-under-Lyne and have a secure unit you can drop off to. You’re welcome to leave the vehicle and we’ll let you know when it’s ready for collection. (Starbucks, Asda and Ikea near by)

Deep Clean – FAQs

1. How long does a deep clean take?

A deep clean typically takes between 3 to 5 hours, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. Heavily soiled cars, or those with pet hair or staining, may take slightly longer.

2. Can this be done at my home or workplace?

Yes. We offer mobile deep cleans across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. All we need is safe, legal parking close to the vehicle.

3. Do I need to provide water or electricity?

We are fully self-sufficient, with our own water tanks and generators, so no external power or water is needed.

However, if you do have access to power and water, it’s always appreciated — mainly to avoid generator noise (especially in quieter residential areas) and out of courtesy to neighbours.

4. Does this include stain removal and wet-vac?

Yes — if your seats or carpets need shampooing or extraction, we include this as part of the service. You don’t need to add it as an extra.

5. Will this remove bad smells from the car?

Light odours (such as food or damp smells) are usually resolved during a deep clean.

However, persistent odours (smoke, pet, mildew etc.) may require a dedicated odour removal treatment with ozone or fogger machines — we’ll let you know if this is needed.

6. Do I need to remove personal items before the clean?

Yes — we recommend removing any valuables or personal items beforehand. We’ll place anything we do find into a sealed bag and leave it in the boot for you.

7. How do I book?

You can request a quote and check availability directly via our booking form or WhatsApp. We typically have a 1–2 week wait, especially during busy periods.
