Assess the paint before correcting it

Explore paint inspection, defects, thickness and correction limits. Understanding the surface helps you decide what can safely be improved and when a more aggressive approach is inappropriate.

Rotary machine-polishing techniques

  • Machine setup, pads and compounds.
  • Speed, pressure, control and working patterns.
  • Heat management and care around edges and sensitive areas.
  • Cutting, refining, finishing and final inspection.

Sanding and localised repair techniques

The syllabus includes wet and dry sanding, clear-coat limits, stone-chip and touch-up work, scratch repair and inspecting the result. Recognising the limits of a repair is part of the course.

These sessions normally share day two of the Advanced course. There is a maximum of eight students across the combined group. Final arrangements and your place are confirmed separately; an enquiry does not reserve a seat.

Price and practical details

The total for new bookings is £350 including VAT. Pay in full or pay a £100 deposit with £250 due on the training day. Existing accepted deals keep their agreed terms. Every invoice is issued and emailed through Xero.
